Let's grow something together.

The team behind Jiwa designs, builds and looks after gardens across Bali.

What we do

  • Aerial view of a spiral herb garden and fruit trees at Jiwa.01

A garden that does more: food, habitat, water and places for people, shaped around your site.

  • A Jiwa gardener carrying a basket of fresh lettuce along a garden path.02

Beds that feed your family or your kitchen.

  • Children and an adult tipping a bucket of waste onto a compost pile at Jiwa.03

Your scraps have somewhere better to go. Systems that turn waste into soil on site.

  • Hands holding freshly harvested sorghum in the garden.04

Beautiful, low-effort planting for villas and homes.

  • Hands shaping a bamboo pole with a hammer and chisel.05

Worm-powered toilets that give back to the soil.

  • A watering can sprinkling water over young vegetable plants.06

Regular, practical care so your garden keeps growing well.

For businesses

Compost Heroes

Separate your food scraps and we collect them from restaurants, hotels and shops, then turn them into compost at Jiwa.

Our free-range chickens help too

The hens roam the food forest and love a good scratch through the compost. They eat scraps, turn the pile as they dig, and leave manure that feeds the soil. It is one more way food waste ends up as something useful here.

Let's start with a visit.

Tell us where your garden will be and we'll come take a look. You do not need a perfect brief: a location, a few photos and an idea is a good start.
